Today Digg, one of the social site, has sold its remaining assets including domain, code, data and all the traffic for $500K - $725k to the NYC-based tech firm Betaworks. The total price of the Digg acquisition was around $16 million.

Digg has been sold in parts to Washington Post, LinkedIn and Betaworks. LinkedIn ended up paying around $4 million for 15 different Digg patents whereas Washington Post paid $16 million for the Digg Team.
