Google+ Launches New Share Button But Similar To +1 Button [News]

GooglePlus Share
Just a few weeks ago we had a complete new layout for Google+ and now yesterday Google+ introduced a new share button for the which encourages the reader to share the post with their friends on Google+ instead of just giving a +1. This is a great news for webmasters and bloggers using Google+ for marketing their blog. The share button comes with the new asynchronous snippet which makes the share button to load faster with minimum effect on your blog's load time. This asynchronous snippet was developed for +1 button when it was being criticized for slow loading. This shows how much Google+ developers are dedicated in developing and always giving something new.

How the new Google+ Share button works?

It is damn simple. Just get the Google+ Share button code, paste that code in your HTML source code where you want it to appear. Now this is how it will appear as:

When the reader hovers:

As you can see in the below image that when the reader hovers the share button it tells you to share that post on Google+ with your name.

Visitors Hover Share

When reader clicks:

Ultimately when the reader clicks the share button a small box pop-up, just like when you hover +1 button, with title, image and description of the post. You can also add your own comment while sharing.

Visitors Clicks Share

After reader shared:

Finally when the reader is done with sharing the post the button turns red.

Conclusion:

This new share button definitely is a good move by Google+ but it offers the same features just as in the +1 button. Readers can even share with existing +1 button when it is hovered. The only difference is that the new button has a "Share" word in the button. It just a matter of time when Google+ comes up with a unique feature in this button. Try it on your blog or website and let us know your verdict, whether it works better than the existing +1 button.

  1. Seems like there is more to it than what looks now. Since the g+ button working from before offers the same functionality, there would be more that Google is up to with this new button!
    Just wait and watch!!

Yes must be planning for new. Wait and watch is the only thing we can do.
